Living On Pitch

So many people are confused by what the gospel is and what it isn’t. Here it is simply: I learned in Sunday School that the gospel is good news. What is that good news? The good news is that Jesus Christ died for our sins. Plain and simple to me the gospel is life after death. I know, you know that we all have to die, but you can have life that is eternal. You can live with hope now because of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I can’t, you can’t, we can’t on our own save ourselves, only God can do that.

Maybe you don’t think you need a Savior and you can do life all by yourself or you think you can live well, do good and just be positive and kind in the world. I want to explain something because the world offers us a lot of good things in disguise. I’ve learned the only way to live fully on pitch is to accept Jesus Christ as Lord of all. No amount of positivity, kindness or good deeds can save us from sin sickness. Our daily affirmations, quotes, and screenshots alone don’t have enough power to save us. Only Jesus saves. Only Jesus can heal and deliver us.

I just want to continue planting seeds in the world today so people know clearly where to find the gospel message. It is found in the Bible. John 3:16 says for God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
