Two Words

I have just two words of wisdom for today:

Dream Big

Don’t be afraid to chase after those God honoring and inspired dreams.

Now that’s what I call living on pitch!

I have found that the Word of God does not change. I was looking at one of my old Bibles and saw that it was really used, worn out, had pages folded, lot of highlighted Scriptures and writing in the margins but it was still good and useful. I decided to reuse it because it contained what I needed. The messages of hope, joy, love and peace were still there. My life is like that used Bible sometimes I’m worn and torn, but Jesus doesn’t throw me away. He takes my life and recycles me. God allows me to be reused for His glory. I’m so glad scripture constantly reminds me that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forevermore.

Getting Through

I just read the last chapter of my book You’ll Get Through This by Max Lucado. I love this author. I was extremely encouraged by what he said in the book about hope and help for our turbulent times. It’s hard to believe so many lives were taken in Orlando, FL and so many others were injured by one gunman. This violence, hatred, evil is real and I must as a believer in Christ remember the biblical examples of God turning mess into good. I must pray and encourage others going through whatever difficulties they face. Thank you Max Lucado for reminding me of how I need to be a Joseph this in the final chapter’s message: Evil. God. Good.
