Living On Pitch

Have you ever tried to make a rock cry out? I am reading  the songwriter Holland Davis’ book called Let It Rise, A Manual for Worship.  I must say he hits the nail on the head with this chapter -Making The Rocks Cry Out.  Regarding the misconception of worship leaders being cheerleaders Davis says,  ” If the focus is people then the focus is not God.” We must remember to stay focused on God in worship. Music ministry leadership can be challenging but it’s a lot easier if we look beyond people in the audience and focus on the audience of one. Now that’s what I call Living on Pitch.
