Living On Pitch

Living on pitch is not an easy task.  There are daily challenges and often pride gets in the way of us staying in tune with the Master.  I’ve learned to be aware of issues of pride in my heart and  often say to myself,  “warning:  The power and control you think you have may be too much for you.”  I just finished a Bible Study series at my church on the 6 things God hates and it was so powerful.  There is so much I need to work on and I am grateful for being challenged  by the Word of God and the people of God.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for warnings, stop signs and detours every day.

Proverbs 6: 16-19( ESV)  There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
