I don’t know about you but sometimes I don’t want to go through storms. I don’t want rain to fall in my life and I don’t want hard times to come. I don’t want to think about financial difficulties, health challenges and daily struggles, let alone see them coming in my direction. I am not like the weatherman who can track, follow, predict and forecast. I don’t always have the patience of Job, the courage of Daniel and the faith of Abraham. I look for things to be good most of the time but the reality is storms come, rain falls but challenges mold and shape me to be just who God wants me to be. God is no weatherman since he created the weather, but God is a “whether God.” Whether things are good or bad, He is still God. He is able to see me through whether I want to go through a storm or not. He is forecasting and tracking accurately if I’m trusting Him in all things whether I want Him to or not. He lets me see some things for a specific reason whether I want to see them or not. God allows me to see it for a reason and specific purpose. I am so grateful that God knows what tests are just for me and what rainbows I need to see. Be encouraged and rejoice in those things God let you see, so you can look back and give Him all the glory.
Psalm 118:24 NKJV says, This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
