Living On Pitch

Two words that my mother always said to us while we were growing up and that is keep living. Two other words have arrested me this week and they are “calling” and “legacy.” I had the pleasure of attending two different conferences in one week and both of them gripped my heart. The speakers gently reminded me I’ve got a calling on my life and to take it seriously. The word of God is where I learn about my calling and how to walk in it. I’ve got a family legacy that only I can keep building upon. I’m not passing anything down to a computer or electronic device. It’s going to people who are real human beings. My mother and father’s legacy lives on in me and through the people God allows me to call family. My family legacy is worth preserving as I walk humbly in my calling to sing, write and serve.

My prayer is Lord help me live bolder for you and may everything I do be sprinkled with the rich legacy of godly wisdom and your Truth.

Now that’s what I call living on pitch and what I intend to pass on from generation to generation.
