Here is how I stand up when things are falling down around me in just two words. Sometimes I need to be reminded to simply watch and pray always.

Encouragement in just 2 words! Bite sized Tune- Ups
Some of my family members have just experienced the worst flooding in their state of Louisiana. I have seen pictures, read stories and saw how devastating this flood was. I really don’t know what to say about those going through this natural disaster. Some have lost loved ones while others lost their homes and other possessions.
Fully Meets
The two words on the form said fully meets. My performance review was done and it said I was fully meeting the goals of the department and those I set for myself. One quick moment of rejoicing led to another moment of self-reflection and a little more of a reality check. I began to think Lord am I fully meeting your standards? Am I doing the kingdom work that is required of me? I’m going to church, staying active in ministry, trying to serve others, I think I have it right but I really don’t. I know I don’t always measure up and I know I can do better. My ratings on taming my tongue, procrastination and bible study alone can easily knock me down from thinking I’m something that I’m not. Add in fasting and praying and I’m in no better position to fully meet or measure up to any spiritual standards. So I say a quick prayer and ask the Lord to help me live purposefully on pitch. I ask Him to guide me , help me guard my mind, heart and life to fully meet what He requires. Thank God for His grace and mercy which fully meets me at the point of my need. The grace of God is sufficient and still amazing. I am once again reminded that without God I can do nothing and without Him I would surely fail.
James 4:10 ESV Humble yourselves before the Lord and he will exalt you.
Plain & Simple
I will keep it plain and simple today with just two words of encouragement:
Just Awesome –that’s who God is!
Two Words of Encouragement
Today’s two words are: BEST YET
The best is yet to come, so hold on and don’t give up.
Two Words of Encouragement
Today’s two words are: BE INTENTIONAL
It takes an effort to go from I should to I will. What things are you intentional about? Go ahead and speak it, calendar it, or plan it, but most of all do it.
Here’s my short list I’ve started on being intentional: “I will focus on being more considerate of others, listening to others, and make an effort to inspire positive change in others.”
Let’s start being more intentional today!
Two Words of Encouragement
Today’s two words are: I WILL
I will stay focused on worship, growing and serving.
Logging Out
I have two words on how not to judge others and they are LOG OUT. Sometimes I forget to log out of my computer leaving it open and susceptible to being hacked or other dangers. God is not speaking in terms of a computer when it comes to judging others. When I fail to take the LOG OUT of my own eyes and look in the mirror, I am susceptible to much more danger to myself and others. I am so grateful for God’s Word which reminded and convicted me in two simple words from Matthew 7:1-5.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye. Mat 7:1-5 ( ESV)
Thought: We must not forget to LOG OUT to keep living on pitch.
Great & Greatly
Not too many things are great AND greatly but God is!!
Words of Encouragement
Today’s words are SPREAD JOY
Just think, you can spread a little joy to the world everyday not just at Christmas time. That’s a good reason to be joyful.
