Cutting It Straight

I recently attended the Cutting It Straight Expository Preaching Conference in Jacksonville, FL.  It was a great conference experience and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.  I thank God for Pastor H.B. Charles Jr and the entire Shiloh Church family.  I have grown, been equipped for better ministry leadership and met some really great brothers and sisters in Christ.  While I am no preacher and I don’t plan on preaching any sermons, I have a greater appreciation and love for pastors.  To hear sound doctrine, learn from those who take God’s word seriously and carefully explain the text it makes me want to dig deeper everyday.  I attended the conference’s worship track and learned so much about Worship and the Word.  I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from some of the best worship leaders around.  They cut me just straight enough to keep living on pitch with intention to magnify the Lord.  I thank God for this conference and highly recommend it to others to attend.  There really is something for everyone (senior pastors, associates, ministry leaders, worship leaders, youth leaders, and women’s ministry leaders) at Cutting It Straight.  To find out more just click here.
