I don’t get sick too often but when I do I’m usually down for the count. There have been a lot of people getting sick with colds and the flu this season. I recently got a touch of a cold and it had me up and down. I received all kind of advice from gargling to purchasing the medicine ball drink from Starbucks to get rid of my symptoms. I did a few of those things but the best thing I could do was rest. I rested my body. Sometimes I was feeling alone as I ached, and my throat hurt, but God was there to comfort and soothe me. I’ve learned, no matter how I am feeling I must trust God to do the healing. We must rest in Him during our weary and well doing seasons. When your heart is hurting, lonely or even angry seek God’s face for extra strength and trust He will take care of you. God is a Healer. Cold and flu seasons are serious. Life is serious. God’s caring is serious. I thank God for allowing me to get back on my feet. I pray you too will be well and take care of yourself physically so you may keep living on pitch. Let not your heart be dismayed, God will and He does take care of you.
