“Delight Thyself”
Scripture says in Psalm 37:4 to delight thyself in the Lord! Webster’s dictionary defines the word delight as to take great pleasure in. Sometimes I find myself delighting in so many things other than God alone.
This week I found myself taking time to delight in the Lord. I found great pleasure in the beauty of God’s creativity, God’s handiwork all around me and His majesty. Oh what kind of God can design skies so big, oceans so wide, flowing waterfalls, rivers and streams so peaceful, high mountains and low valleys, trees so green and beautiful? Be encouraged and delight yourself in the Lord today.
