Scripture says in Psalm 37:4 to delight thyself in the Lord! Webster’s dictionary defines the word delight as to take great pleasure in. Sometimes I find myself delighting in so many things other than God alone.

I don’t know about you but it feels so good when the bills are paid each month and I can cross them off of my budget list. I feel even better when I can get rid of large debts I owe. Just knowing they are paid in full brings joy to my soul.

I have been studying the Model Prayer aka the Lord’s Prayer with my church. It’s been wonderful going through this simple, practical lesson Jesus taught in Matthew 6 on how to pray. I was doing fine so I thought, each week as we went line by line and verse by verse until we reached verse 12 which says “and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”
